Left the house on April 8th moved down the hill to Alamogordo Elks RV lot. Spent 8 days securing the house and getting ready for our first long term RV trip. We will be gone about 15 months taking in California, Alaska, Maine, Florida, Ohio, Texas, and points between.
Left Alamogordo on Thursday the 16th parked that night in Kirkland AFB RV Camp ground. Early the next morning moved to Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Park for the tenth Good Sam Rally. See pictures. There are over 4000 RV’s parked here with four days of displays of everything for RV’s . Of course we found lots of goodies we couldn’t do with out.
So far we have had three nights of entertainment: 1st Neil Sedaka, then Rita Cooledge, and last night The Osmond’s, who were by far the best. Tonight is to be Papa Doo Nun Nun.
Left Balloon Park 8:30 AM Tuesday Driving North to Durango, Colorado. Stopped at Aztec, New Mexico to see Aztec National monument turned out had nothing to do with Aztecs of Mexico but very interesting. Will post pictures later.
